LIPPINGS
Concealed / exposed near match timber hardwood lipping to all four edges before / after applying face
finish.
Minimum standard finished 8mm square with 2mm aris / radius for double action / Standard
12 x 12mm rebate from 18mm lipping.
For HPL & PVC face finish: Laminate or 2mm PVC /ABS edge applied to timber lipping.

Aluminium frame by others: material 2mm thick aluminium, minimum grade 6063-T6,
Minimum face width excluding stop 30mm (single acting), minimum frame depth 85mm, minimum stop
depth 12mm.

TIMBER FRAME FINISH AS DELIVERED
To compliment veneered door(s)
Two coats of high-solid acid-catalysed lacquer, clear/tinted, 20% gloss /other
Stained.......colour and finished with two coats high-solid acid-catalysed lacquer.
For finishing by others:
Primed one / two coats for paint finishing by others.

IRONMONGERY PREPARATION
Refer to door / ironmongery schedule
Doors to be factory pre-machined for locks, hinges and other ironmongery as per drawing ref....... .

PERIMETER SEALS
Factory fitted to leaf(s) / frame, acoustic seals to manufacturer's choice to meet sound insulation as specified in applicable test report.

Rating according to BS EN ISO 717-1:1997 from tests and measurements conducted in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3:1995.

Mechanical test to DD171:1987 clauses 4.3, 4.4, 4.9, 4.10, 4.11.  Severe Duty.
Mechanical test to BS EN 1192 (EN947, EN948, EN949, EN950). Severe Duty (Class 4).
Cycling tests to BS EN 1191 (classification to EN 12400). Heavy Duty (Class 7)

MOISTURE CONTENT ON DELIVERY
Comply with BS EN 942:2007 service climate 12-21°c / above 21°c. (door 8+/- 2%) 12

SITE CONDITIONS
Conditions for storage, handling, stacking and covering during installation to comply with manufacturer's instructions.
Post installation temperature to be in region of 12°c to 21°c and relative humidity range 40% to 60%.
